Who We Are

Westchester Avenue Tennis Club is a dedicated club where you can come to play, have fun, and improve your tennis. Established in 1987, we have been bringing premium tennis coaching to the Westchester area for nearly 40 years. We offer the unique option to bring your own tennis pro to coach on our courts for no additional charge. We also have a seasonal bubble that ensures year round play. We are here to give you the optimal tennis experience.

Meet the Owners

  • — Born in Brooklyn N.Y. where I learned to play tennis from Phil Rubel at Lincoln Terrace Park

    — Played junior tournaments all around the metropolitan area

    — Played college tennis singles and doubles

    — Earned my undergraduate BS degree in Physical Education

    — Earned my Masters MS degree in Physical Education from Queens College

    — Coached Top 100 WTA pro

    — Head Pro at Sterling Tennis in Queens N.Y.

    —Assistant Pro at The Bailiwick Club in Greenwich CT

    — Head Pro at The Rye Racquet Club

    — Head Pro at The Quaker Ridge Golf Club

    — Certified USPTA Tennis Professional

    —I became a partner at the Westchester Avenue Tennis Club in 2002

  • — Came from Australia in 1993

    — Have been teaching pro positions at various country clubs during the time I’ve been here

    — Taught at Fenway Country Club, Old Oaks, Brae Burn, and American Yacht Club

    — Started Westchester Avenue Tennis Club in 1987 and have been teaching here since then
